What is Floor Map?

A floor map is a visual representation of the restaurant's tables and their current state — vacant, occupied, billing pending, or cleaned. Floor maps let owners and staff see the whole restaurant at a glance.

In detail

ZaikaQR's floor map shows every table as a card with: current order status, time seated, total spend so far, and a kebab menu for quick actions (mark paid, transfer to another table, mark vacant).

When a customer places an order via QR, the corresponding table card lights up with the order details — the entire floor is visible to the owner or floor manager from their phone.

For dine-in restaurants with 10+ tables, a floor map dramatically reduces missed orders and 'who's table is this' confusion.

Why it matters for your restaurant

Understanding Floor Map helps you evaluate restaurant software properly, talk to your tech vendors with confidence, and make better-informed pricing and operational decisions.
